The Rogers Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Troy Trojans to 38 in the Eagles league victory on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lorena for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 19. Rogers will battle a Leopards team coming off a 79-19 league win over Lexington (Lexington, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 22-5.
The Trojans (14-11) will now prepare for their contest against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Yoemen come into the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, C.H. Yoe was nudged by McGregor (McGregor, TX), 54-28, in a league contest.
