North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek over Valor Preparatory Academy

Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Sugar Creek Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) and the host Valor Preparatory Academy Owls (Concord, NC), saw Sugar Creek's basketball squad overcome Valor Preparatory Academy by a tally of 36-22.

With the victory, Sugar Creek improves its record to 2-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 24. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 11-4.

Next up, the Owls confront the Jackson Day Mariners (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Valor Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 41-37 non-league win over Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC).
