Dimond Lynx (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK), 27-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Dimond upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lynx host Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK) to play the Thunderbirds in a bout on Monday, January 22. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 20. Chugiak will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
