The Page Pirates basketball team (Greensboro, NC), was overwhelmed 50-13 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC)
The Wolverines now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wake Forest for a non-league battle on Friday, January 19. Wakefield will confront a Cougars team coming off a 41-18 league loss to Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-7.
The Pirates (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Nighthawks come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record.
