In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Little River Academy Bumblebees soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Jarrell Cougars.
The Bumblebees (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets come into the 4A Region 1 District 5 battle with a 1-1 record.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Florence (Florence, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 4A Region 4 District 25 battle with a 12-2 record.
