In Wednesday's league battle, the host Naaman Forest Rangers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 win over the Rowlett Eagles.
The Rangers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wylie East (Wylie, TX). The Raiders go into the 6A Region 2 District 9 battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Wylie East nipped Pine Tree (Longview, TX), 8-0, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Mustangs go into the 6A Region 2 District 9 battle with a 5-0 record. In their last battle, Sachse nipped Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX), 5-0, in a league battle.
