With the victory, Tonopah Valley upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Phoenix host Scottsdale Preparatory Academy (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Guardians play the River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, January 18. American Leadership Academy - West Foothills will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
