The Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Norfolk Academy Bulldogs to 33 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Seahawks now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portsmouth Christian for a contest on Friday, January 19. Atlantic Shores Christian will meet a Patriots team coming off a 68-39 league loss to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-7.
The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA). The Knights enter the contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Peninsula Catholic triumphed over Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA), 56-51, in a league contest.
