With the victory, Branham upgrades its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bruins host Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to play the Eagles in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-13. Oak Grove lost 93-24 in their recent league bout against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the 76ers play the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 24. Independence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 62-45 league loss to Leigh (San Jose, CA).
