The Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) basketball nipped the visiting Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), 49-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Vaqueros (10-3) will now prepare for their test against Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Buckaroos go into the non-league test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, Lowry was tipped by Dayton (Dayton, NV), 57-50, in a non-league test.

The Greenwave now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Dayton for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Churchill County will encounter a Dust Devils squad coming off a 57-50 non-league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Dust Devils record now stands at 6-2.
