With the victory, James Kenan upgrades its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Stallions come into the bout with a record of 1-9. Southwest Onslow lost 59-18 in their recent non-league bout against Kinston (Kinston, NC)

Next up, the Dark Horses play the Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 19. Clinton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Red Devils come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 28-14 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC).
