North Carolina High School Basketball - Forbush topped by East Surry

The East Surry Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Forbush Falcons to 41 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Wilkes for a non-league contest on Friday, January 19. East Surry will battle a Blackhawks team coming off a 58-52 non-league win over North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 5-9.
The Falcons (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record.
