New York High School Basketball - Galway nips Middleburgh

Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Middleburgh Knights (Middleburgh, NY), 46-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Galway upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Oppenheim-Ephratah (St. Johnsville, NY) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 24. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-4.
Next up, the Knights play the Oppenheim-Ephratah Hawks (St. Johnsville, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Middleburgh will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
