Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) and the visiting Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC), saw Greene Central's basketball squad hold off Washington by a count of 57-56.

With the victory, Greene Central upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC) to play the Jaguars in a challenge on Friday, January 19. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 8-0. Farmville Central won 97-38 in their recent non-league challenge against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC)

Next up, the Pam Pack play the SouthWest Edgecombe Cougars (Pinetops, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
