Latin Romans (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Northridge Knights (Niles, IL), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Latin upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Romans host Northside (Chicago, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 3-2.

Next up, the Knights play the Francis W. Parker Colonels (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Northridge will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Colonels come into the bout with a 0-9 record after their 66-48 non-league loss to Latin (Chicago, IL).
