Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals (Saginaw, MI), 35-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mayville upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Marlette (Marlette, MI) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, January 22. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Michigan Lutheran Seminary will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
