The St. Pauls Bulldogs basketball team scored 28 points and held the visiting Red Springs Red Devils to 14 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont for a contest on Friday, January 19. St. Pauls will meet a Golden Tornadoes team coming off a 57-36 league win over Midway (Dunn, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 8-0.

The Red Devils (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, NC). The Dark Horses enter the contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Clinton was defeated by James Kenan (Warsaw, NC), 40-29, in a non-league contest.
