With the victory, Smoky Mountain improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to confront the Eagles in a challenge on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. East Henderson won 38-33 in their recent league challenge against Pisgah (Canton, NC)

Next up, the Mountaineers confront the West Henderson Falcons (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 19. Tuscola will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 50-38 non-league loss to Franklin (Franklin, NC).
