Texas High School Basketball - Abernathy thwarts New Deal

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX) and the visiting New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX), observed Abernathy's basketball team knock off New Deal by a score of 57-41.
The Antelopes (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Ralls (Ralls, TX). The Jackrabbits come into the 2A Region I District 4 challenge with a 4-9 record.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Ralls Jackrabbits (Ralls, TX) in a 2A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. New Deal will attempt to improve on its 12-13 season record.
