The Northwest Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Adams Central Patriots to 60 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host North Platte for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. Northwest will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Sidney (Sidney, NE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.
With the loss, Adams Central falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE) to confront the Cardinals in a C1 District 9 game on Saturday, January 18. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 7-4. Doniphan-Trumbull won 60-36 in their recent league game against Centura (Cairo, NE)
