The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons to 43 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they travel to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a A Section 3 game on Tuesday, January 21. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will confront a Panthers team coming off a 106-80 league win over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Adrian/Ellsworth falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Dragons host Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to confront the Generals in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Generals go into the game with a record of 1-10. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 71-51 in their recent league game against Rock Valley (Rock Valley, IA)
