The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Alabama Aerospace and Aviation (Bessemer, AL), observed Westminster School at Oak Mountain's basketball team beat Alabama Aerospace and Aviation by a tally of 70-56.

The Knights now possess a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Vincent for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 21. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 37-26 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Alabama Aerospace and Aviation falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The travel to Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL) to play the Eagles in a 2A Area 9 bout on Wednesday, January 22. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Cornerstone lost 62-32 in their recent non-league bout against Center Point (Birmingham, AL)
