Georgia High School Basketball - Alcovy fells Clarke Central

The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Clarke Central Gladiators to 66 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Handley for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Alcovy will confront a Tigers team coming off a 70-54 non-league win over Wadley (Wadley, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Clarke Central falls to 0-18 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA) to confront the Panthers in a AAAAA Region 8 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-13. Jackson County won 61-46 in their recent league game against Apalachee (Winder, GA)
