In Friday's league contest, the visiting Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins basketball team scored a big 59-36 triumph over the Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars.

The Griffins (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Discovery (Sylmar, CA). The Warriors go into the Central Valley contest with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 20. Lake Balboa College Prep will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Sharks go into the contest with a 7-4 record after their 53-30 non-league win over Southwestern Academy (San Marino, CA).
