In Friday's league contest, the visiting Fulton Steamers basketball team scored a good 46-32 win over the Amboy Clippers.
The Steamers (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 13-4 record. In their last contest, Riverdale defeated Annawan (Annawan, IL), 56-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Clippers battle the Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Amboy will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 14-7 record after their 49-47 league win over Kewanee (Kewanee, IL).
