The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), observed Archbishop Riordan's basketball team overwhelm Saint Francis by a margin of 75-37.

The Crusaders (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs come into the West Catholic challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Mitty was trounced by St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 57-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Saint Francis will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 80-41 league win over Harker (San Jose, CA).
