The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) and the host Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), observed Armuchee's basketball team overwhelm Dalton Academy by a margin of 85-41.
The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA). The Trojans come into the A D1 Region 7 challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Gordon Lee was trounced by Dade County (Trenton, GA), 54-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pumas battle the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Dalton Academy will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 59-47 league win over Armuchee (Rome, GA).
