The Ashford Yellowjackets basketball squad (Ashford, AL), was outscored 65-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL)

With the victory, Dale County advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Warriors travel to Zion Chapel (Jack, AL) to meet the Rebels in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 18. The Rebels enter the battle with a record of 5-17. Zion Chapel lost 77-34 in their recent league battle against Luverne (Luverne, AL)

The Yellowjackets now own a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Daleville for a 4A Area 3 battle on Tuesday, January 21.
