In Friday's league contest, the visiting Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks basketball team scored a big 80-50 triumph over the Denbigh Baptist Christian Minutemen.

The Seahawks (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, King's Fork smashed Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 78-67, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Minutemen battle the Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) in a Metropolitan contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Denbigh Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 75-26 league loss to Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA).
