The Cabrini Monarchs basketball team scored 71 points and limited the host Austin Catholic Crusaders to 34 in the Monarchs league triumph on Friday.

The Monarchs now have a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Detroit Cristo Rey for a Catholic Intersectional II game on Tuesday, January 21. Cabrini will confront a WOLVES team coming off a 56-19 non-league loss to Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI). The WOLVES record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, Austin Catholic falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI) to confront the Ventures in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Ventures go into the game with a record of 0-12. Bishop Foley lost 75-54 in their recent league game against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI)
