The Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL) basketball crushed the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 77-51 in Friday's league bout.
The Jets now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood Academy for a AISA AA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, January 21.
With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 310-1098 on the campaign. The travel to Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis (St. Louis, MO) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 10-2.
