In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Bennett County Warriors basketball team scored a good 53-43 triumph over the Philip Scotties.
The Warriors (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Coyotes go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Jones County topped White River (White River, SD), 40-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scotties confront the White River Tigers (White River, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Philip will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 69-50 non-league loss to Lyman (Presho, SD).
