In Friday's league contest, the host Bishop Ryan Lions basketball team scored a good 71-51 triumph over the Velva Aggies.
The Lions (11-0) will now prepare for their contest against Our Redeemer's Christian (Minot, ND). The Knights go into the B District 6 contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Our Redeemer's Christian topped Towner-Granville-Upham (Towner, ND), 70-42, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Aggies battle the Glenburn Panther (Glenburn, ND) in a B District 6 contest, on Monday, January 20. Velva will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Panther go into the contest with a 2-10 record after their 80-65 league loss to Surrey (Surrey, ND).
