The Nevis Tigers bounced the host Blackduck Drakes basketball squad by a final score of 84-36 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Kelliher/Northome Mustangs (Northome, MN) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 21. Nevis will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 5-6 record after their 97-96 non-league win over North Woods (Cook, MN).
The Drakes (2-12) will now prepare for their outing against Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN). The Tigers come into the non-league outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Pine River-Backus routed Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN), 69-59, in a league outing.
