The Loop Longhorns basketball squad (Loop, TX), was nudged 49-45 in Friday's league battle with the host Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX)
With the victory, Borden County advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Coyotes host Dawson (Welch, TX) to meet the Dragons in a 1A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 21. The Dragons enter the battle with a record of 0-7.
The Longhorns now own a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grady for a 1A Region I District 6 battle on Tuesday, January 21. Loop will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 58-46 league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-8.
