In Friday's league contest, the visiting Boys Ranch Roughriders basketball team scored a close 45-42 win over the Hartley Tigers.
The Roughriders (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Wildorado (Wildorado, TX). The Mustangs come into the 1A Region I District 3 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Wildorado edged Adrian (Adrian, TX), 79-30, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) in a 1A Region I District 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Hartley will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 14-12 record after their 93-35 league loss to Texline (Texline, TX).
