The Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN) basketball edged the visiting Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN), 57-55 in Friday's league game.

The Cardinals now have a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Munford for a 3A District 15 game on Tuesday, January 21.

With the loss, Millington Central falls to 11-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Munford (Munford, TN) to confront the Cougars in a 3A District 15 game on Monday, January 20. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 8-8.
