The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsville (Martinsville, IL). The Bluestreaks come into the Egyptian Illini challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Martinsville edged Chrisman (Chrisman, IL), 72-37, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Farina South Central Cougars (Farina, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Patoka will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 10-5 record after their 37-27 league loss to Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL).
