The Buckingham Knights (Buckingham, VA) basketball toppled the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 66-52 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Nottoway for a James River bout on Tuesday, January 21. Buckingham will play a Cougars team coming off a 61-50 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Randolph-Henry falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA) to play the Chargers in a James River bout on Tuesday, January 21. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Lunenburg Central won 54-44 in their recent league bout against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA)
