South Carolina High School Basketball - Woodland holds off Burke

The Woodland Wolverines basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Burke Bulldogs to 47 in the Wolverines league triumph on Friday.
The Wolverines now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Timberland for a AA Region 6 game on Friday, January 24. Woodland will confront a Wolves team coming off a 52-28 league loss to Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Wolves record now stands at 5-13.
With the loss, Burke falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC) to confront the Raptors in a AA Region 6 game on Friday, January 24. The Raptors go into the game with a record of 2-15. Academic Magnet lost 63-39 in their recent league game against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC)
