New York High School Basketball - Campbell-Savona nips Houghton Academy

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Campbell-Savona Panthers basketball team scored a close 38-32 win over the Houghton Academy Panthers.
The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Genesee Valley (Belmont, NY). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Genesee Valley edged Arkport Central/Canaseraga (Arkport, NY), 71-65, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Panthers encounter the Hammondsport Lakers (Hammondsport, NY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 21. Houghton Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Lakers come into the test with a 1-10 record after their 62-55 non-league loss to Avoca Central (Avoca, NY).
