In Friday's league contest, the visiting Stoughton Black Knights basketball team scored a close 57-51 win over the Canton Bulldogs.

The Black Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Williams (Braintree, MA). The Bishops come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Williams was nudged by Bishop Feehan (Attleboro, MA), 67-42, in a league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a Hockomock battle on Tuesday, January 21. Canton will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 78-67 non-league win over Lawrence (Lawrence, MA). The Panthers record now stands at 12-0.
