California High School Basketball - Saugus knocks off Canyon

In Friday's league contest, the host Saugus Centurions basketball team scored a good 65-57 win over the Canyon Cowboys.
The Centurions (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rancho Cucamonga (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Rancho Cucamonga defeated Etiwanda (Etiwanda, CA), 67-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cowboys battle the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Canyon will attempt to better on its 17-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 89-68 league win over Castaic (Castaic, CA).
