The Cato-Meridian Blue Devils basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Port Byron Panthers to 48 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Weedsport for a Section 3 Onondaga - Patriot National game on Wednesday, January 22. Cato-Meridian will play a Wolverines team coming off a 68-65 non-league loss to Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Port Byron falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southern Cayuga (Poplar Ridge, NY) to play the Chiefs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. The Chiefs go into the game with a record of 3-2. Southern Cayuga won 58-48 in their recent league game against Groton (Groton, NY)
