Texas High School Basketball - Central Catholic knocks off Savio

In Friday's league contest, the host Central Catholic Buttons basketball team scored a good 44-36 win over the Savio Eagles.
The Buttons (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX). The Apaches come into the TAPPS 6A District 3 contest with a 29-4 record. In their last contest, Antonian Prep defeated TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX), 72-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the St. Michael's Warriors (Austin, TX) in a TAPPS 6A District 3 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Savio will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 22-4 record after their 77-68 league win over Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).
