California High School Basketball - Central City Value nips USC-MAE

January 17, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90007

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central City Value Jaguars (Los Angeles, CA) and the host USC-MAE Trojans (Los Angeles, CA), observed Central City Value's basketball team edge USC-MAE by a score of 56-55.

The Jaguars (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA). The Suns come into the Freeway challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Downtown Magnets edged Animo Bunche (Los Angeles, CA), 74-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Freeway challenge, on Wednesday, January 22. USC-MAE will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Vipers come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 49-37 non-league win over Rise Kohyang (Los Angeles, CA).
