Maine High School Basketball - Central thwarts Piscataquis

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) and the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), observed Central's basketball team knock off Piscataquis by a score of 53-41.
The Red Devils (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a C North challenge, on Friday, January 24. Piscataquis will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
