In Friday's league contest, the host Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks basketball team scored a big 87-47 triumph over the Charles City Comets.
The Go-Hawks (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Keokuk (Keokuk, IA). The Chiefs go into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Keokuk smashed West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 70-67, in a non-league contest.
