In Friday's league contest, the visiting Clinton Red Tornadoes basketball team scored a close 36-33 win over the Chickasha Fighting Chicks.
The Red Tornadoes (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Cache (Cache, OK). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Cache edged Tuttle (Tuttle, OK), 53-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Fighting Chicks battle the Tuttle Tigers (Tuttle, OK) in a Western - North contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Chickasha will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
