The Knox City Greyhounds basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Chillicothe Eagles to 37 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Benjamin for a 1A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. Knox City will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 65-40 league loss to Munday (Munday, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-7.

With the loss, Chillicothe falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Harrold (Harrold, TX) to confront the Hornets in a 1A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Hornets go into the game with a record of 1-11. Harrold lost 62-27 in their recent league game against Knox City (Knox City, TX)
